Accounting Manager

I’m partnered with a global organization on an Accounting Manager hire. This person will lead core accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role offers strong visibility, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to drive process improvements and strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles Own the end-to-end close process, including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Oversee internal controls and SOX compliance, strengthening processes and identifying opportunities for improvement Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, resolving issues and ensuring compliance Provide technical accounting guidance, lead policy development, and support strategic decision-making through analysis and reporting Qualifications CPA is required with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5 years of team leadership managing reports Strong expertise in financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls (SOX experience preferred) Experience working with ERP systems (M3, Oracle, or SAP ideal) and advanced Excel proficiency Proven leadership, analytical thinking, and ability to drive process improvements in a dynamic environment The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
