Medical Technologist PRN

Job Summary We are seeking a Medical Technologist (PRN) to perform technical laboratory testing supporting neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in compliance with industry standards such as CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA. The role involves ensuring quality control, process improvement, and accurate results while representing the organization professionally. The technologist will support multiple locations, including emergency and outpatient settings, and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Valid licensure/certification (ASCP preferred) within six months of hire; continued employment contingent on certification. Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a relevant laboratory science from an accredited institution. Experience in a hospital laboratory is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, test methodologies, and laboratory values. Ability to demonstrate communication skills, age‑specific testing knowledge, and commitment to quality. Key Duties Perform accurate laboratory testing for diverse patient populations. Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain quality assurance. Support clinical testing and process improvements.
