Solar Electrician

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Specialized Technical Training Travel: 50-75% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary and can include nights, weekends and holidays. The ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Install, maintain and troubleshoot solar panels and equipment. Conduct electrical work, including wiring and connecting solar system components. Install solar combiner boxes, inverters, and switchgear. Complete installation up to standards including safety and quality. Provide customer service and answer any client questions. Work with the installation team to complete projects efficiently. Ensure proper installation and alignment of racking systems for rooftop and ground mount solar arrays, achieving secure and stable mounting that meets all safety standards and maximizes energy efficiency. Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions. Analyze blueprints effectively and utilize such information on jobsite. Work as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision. Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles. Maintain compliance with all OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer‑specific safety requirements, and immediately identify, correct, and/or report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner. Actively participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. Perform other related duties as and assigned.
