LEAD RADIATION THERAPIST

Position Summary The Lead Radiation Therapist is responsible for upholding and implementing the highest standards throughout the department. This role acts as a crucial link connecting the Physician, Physics, and Dosimetry teams and the Therapy staff to ensure seamless coordination for all treatment procedures. The Lead Radiation Therapist maintains uniformity across different centers, assesses competencies, and sets the professional standard for Radiation Therapists and Senior Radiation Therapists to emulate. Responsibilities Uphold and implement departmental standards. Ensure seamless coordination between Physician, Physics, Dosimetry, and Therapy teams. Maintain uniformity across different centers. Assess competencies and guarantee departmental standards are consistently met. Lead the department as the professional standard. Qualifications Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy. Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Demonstrated ongoing leadership skills. Salary Range $43.92 - $67.04 per hour.
