Requirements Qualifications Minimum 21 years old 2+ years of experience to include supervision, contract and budget management responsibilities and being part of a cross-disciplinary team. Familiarity and experience working in or with DHS, DCYF, First 5, and community based agencies Excellent leadership, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Ability to publicize and conduct outreach for programs Experience with client case management through a variety of human service systems. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives Must be available Monday – Friday. Some weekends and evenings may also be required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required with the ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis and distress. Our mission is to provide holistic and comprehensive programs that support health, wellness and self-efficacy in youth, families and communities by providing an Anti-Poverty approach. Urban Services YMCA's programs recognize and re-affirm individual’s strengths and encourage meaningful and collaborative participation in program creation and delivery. The Client Services Manager (CSM) is responsible for supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the Family Resource Center services. The CSM works as a team member with the other Family Resource Center staff to ensure a holistic approach to the family needs. Job Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision Supervise and support two full-time staff members. Assist the Family Resource Center (FRC) Director with staff training, supervision, onboarding, and professional development. Coordinate staff training and ensure team members are proficient in required software and systems. Provide site-based leadership and support daily operations in collaboration with community partners and community-based organizations (CBOs). Attend required meetings and trainings and perform other duties as assigned. Program & Service Coordination Coordinate client and community services and monitor service delivery to ensure quality and effectiveness. Provide individual, couple, family, and group support services for youth, adults, and families. Facilitate weekly support groups, parent education groups, and sessions for youth and families. Collaborate with the Human Services Agency, law enforcement, schools, county departments, and community organizations to connect clients with appropriate resources and services. Maintain positive working relationships with Family Resource Center partners and stakeholders. Community Engagement & Outreach Support outreach and engagement efforts to promote Family Resource Center programs, services, activities, and events. Partner with residents, community organizations, and funding partners to assess community needs and develop strategies that strengthen family well-being and self-sufficiency. Contribute ideas and recommendations to ensure services, programs, and outreach efforts are culturally responsive and reflective of the communities served. Administrative & Fiscal Management Perform data entry, reporting, analysis, and monitoring using contract management and case management systems. Assist the Director with budget preparation, budget tracking, and fiscal management activities. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program, contract, and reporting requirements. Protect confidential information and adhere to HIPAA requirements and organizational policies. Compliance & Organizational Standards Complete all required organizational safety, compliance, and professional development training. Uphold YMCA policies related to safety, supervision, mandated reporting, and risk management. Support organizational goals through effective relationship building, operational leadership, and team development Work Environment & Physical Demands This position works primarily in a Family Resource Center and community-based setting serving youth, adults, and families. The role involves regular interaction with clients, community partners, schools, government agencies, and other service providers. Work is performed in both office and community environments and may include attending meetings, outreach events, trainings, and community activities at various locations. The schedule generally occurs Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required to support programs, events, and community needs. This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and use a computer for extended periods throughout the workday. The employee must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication platforms. The role may require moving throughout office and community locations, transporting program materials, and occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds.
