Job Summary Position: Machinist Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Manufacturing Coordinator Company: Steeger USA, a medical equipment OEM focused on fine wire & fiber braiding machines for high‑tech industries; a division of Machine Solutions with four internationally recognized brands: MSI, Vante, PlasticWeld Systems, and Steeger USA. General Purpose: Self‑motivated, energetic individual to fabricate parts for machine builds and to support manufacturing departments. Responsibilities Execute work orders communicated by the Manufacturing Coordinator. Schedule preventative maintenance of machining centers. Cut and prepare materials for work orders. Machining of parts based upon drawing specifications. Set‑up and tear‑down of machining centers. Inspect parts. Communicate with team members on timelines and part modifications. Requirements High level of knowledge and experience in mechanical assembly and machining facility. Ability to read mechanical equipment drawings (plus). Excellent organization and time‑management skills. Ability to communicate and problem‑solve with team members. Minimum 2 years technical training and 5 years of experience with manual machining equipment, CNC mills, and CNC lathes. Basic knowledge of CNC programming.
