A highly respected law firm in Atlanta is looking for a talented Associate with at least a couple years of trusts & estates/tax planning experience to join its thriving Trusts & Estates Practice Group - and this could be the launchpad your career has been waiting for! In this role, you'll work alongside a team of seasoned attorneys who provide sophisticated estate, tax, and business succession planning advice to high and ultra-high net worth individuals and businesses. What makes you a great fit? Experience drafting wills and complex estate planning documents - GRATs, intentionally defective grantor trusts, charitable trusts, and beyond A knack for counseling clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, including installment sales to grantor trusts with formula valuation Experience drafting business succession planning documents Bonus points for experience with estate and gift tax return preparation and review, and familiarity with income taxation of individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and partnerships Sharp writing and analytical skills that set you apart A self-starter mentality with the ability to juggle multiple projects independently, while also thriving as part of a collaborative team A JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar Why you'll love this opportunity: This is your chance to build a career at the intersection of law, tax strategy, and family legacy - working with sophisticated clients on matters that truly matter to them.
