We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200+ years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering for several mid‑to‑large wireless carriers internationally, which led to the need to provide low power, cost‑efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. Job Description The candidate should have 5+ years of software development experience with following skills: C++ development in UNIX environment, writing high performance modules. Experience with multi-threaded programming, UNIX system programming, Socket programming. Strong knowledge of data representation protocols such as XML, and of SQL Programming. Ability to understand requirements, translate to design and develop complete modules. Experience in working with CORBA. Responsible for defining, planning, and monitoring all application support activities for IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation, training, and script/code writing - Implements and supports a broad range of IT applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
