Engineer I, Mechanical Systems Design We are looking for a talented Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to provide design and drafting services for assigned projects from assignment to factory shipment. Typical Responsibilities Produce required documentation for fabrication, following industry standards and evaluating manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Provide design information by answering questions and requests. Assist engineering in resolving differences between design and fabrication requirements. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with applicable regulations and standards. Work with assistance from other sources such as engineering, project management, and purchasing as needed. Additional Duties Release custom engineered projects to manufacturing by generating panel layouts and wire run lists. Maintain drawings by issuing Engineering Change Notices. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. Entry level to two years of experience in OEM design activities, including experience with AutoCAD-based drawings or similar. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Word processing, spreadsheets, and file management software. Strong spatial recognition skills. Ability to multitask while identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts in a timely manner. Strong follow‑through skills and ability to follow precise procedures to complete assigned tasks. Salary Range USD 68,000 – USD 102,000 per year (includes base pay and short-term incentives). Pay determined by performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and education.
