Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in Virginia
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in hospitalist or obstetric care
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetric cases
• Fluent in Spanish or other languages
• Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and protocols
• Ability to perform emergency procedures within scope of practice

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist or OB practice experience
• Prior locum tenens experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Must hold current state medical license and DEA certification
• Ability to start by 12/30/2025
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including call shifts
• Coverage provided for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses
• Compliance with all healthcare and safety regulations
