Quick Facts Location: Belmont, NC Start Date: 04/28/2026 Shift: 24‑hour shifts (rounding and call from home) Hours/Week: Varies Employment Type: Full‑Time License/Certifications: Board Certified NNP (no FNP, PNP); 2+ years NNP experience required Experience: Minimum 2 years as NNP, excluding RN experience Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please submit salary expectations) Benefits Include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance Life and disability insurance Employee stock purchase program with 15% discount 401(k) with employer match Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Hospital, critical illness, and accident plans; HSA, FSA, and EAP What You’ll Do Conduct daily rounds on newborns in a newly established Level I nursery Attend deliveries upon request and stabilize infants needing higher‑level care Manage and facilitate transport to nearby NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia Provide expert neonatal care in collaboration with a dedicated team Support a low‑volume unit with an anticipated 600 deliveries annually and an average of 5 newborns daily Participate in supplemental shifts at the Level III NICU in Gastonia (optional) What You Need Required: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN experience) Ability to work 24‑hour shifts and manage neonatal emergencies Preferred: Experience with neonatal stabilization and transport Strong collaborative and communication skills About the Assignment Join CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, a modern facility with a new Level I nursery opening in late 2024. The neonatal team works closely with a busy Level III NICU in Gastonia, providing an environment to hone neonatal skills and leadership.
