This role involves loading, transporting, unloading, and packing household or commercial items with care and efficiency.

Energetic Mover/Packer — Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely lift, carry, load, unload, and transport furniture, appliances, and boxes.

• Protect and wrap items using appropriate materials (blankets, shrink wrap, straps, padding).

• Secure items within moving vehicles to prevent damage during transit.

• Follow company safety procedures and best practices for lifting and handling.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate moves.

• Provide courteous and professional customer service at client locations.

• Maintain trucks, equipment, and supplies in clean, working condition.

• Assist with inventory tracking and basic move documentation.

Qualifications — Mover/Packer Requirements

• Previous moving, packing, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to company-defined limits) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.

• Comfortable working in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.

• Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.

Skills — Moving, Packing & Customer Service

• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive lifting and carrying.

• Knowledge of packing materials and best practices to prevent damage.

• Customer service skills: courteous, respectful, and professional demeanor.

• Ability to easily follow instructions and maintain safety standards.

Work Environment & Physical Demands for Movers/Packers

This role is physically demanding: frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing stairs. Work occurs indoors and outdoors, often at residences and/or commercial properties. Employees must be able to follow safety protocols and lift to company-standard weights safely.
