2027 Summer Analyst (Internship)

Brief Overview of Position Interns receive hands‑on experience during a 10‑week summer program that includes projects impacting business, meetings with TexasCapital leaders, and exposure to the products and services we provide. At the conclusion, successful candidates are eligible for interview for a full‑time position in our STARs Program. Responsibilities Research, analyze, and present transaction structures, investment proposals, and related idea generation activities. Learn banking fundamentals including financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and commercial banking basics. Develop client pitch materials, marketing, transaction, and other presentations. Follow current events to stay informed about critical issues relevant to clients and the market. Maintain files related to active and prospective transactions and ensure compliance with internal transaction procedures. Exhibit professionalism by attending all meetings and submitting all reports in a timely manner. Demonstrate continuous learning and coachability throughout the program. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Currently pursuing a BBA, BA, BS or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited college or university, with expected graduation by the following summer. Completion of at least 6 hours of accounting coursework. Completion of at least 6 hours of finance coursework. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Interest in a long‑term career in banking. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership skills and community involvement. Ability to work effectively as a team player and build positive working relationships across the organization. Lines of Business for Interest Corporate Banking – public and private companies with annual revenue >$300million. Middle Market – companies with annual revenue $25million to $300million. Business Banking – up to $25million in annual revenue. Treasury Services – treasury and credit products tailored for every deal. Commercial Real Estate – support for owners, developers and investors. Mortgage Finance – credits, liquidity and banking solutions for mortgage originators. Investment Banking – services for corporate, real estate and mortgage clients. Private Bank – wealth advisement, financial planning, and trust services.
