Compliance Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Program Manager to lead and drive regulatory compliance initiatives across a diverse portfolio of commercial-grade products. This role will serve as the internal subject matter expert for global compliance requirements, ensuring products meet evolving regulatory standards while supporting business growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Act as the company’s lead expert for NSF certification, EPA compliance, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting . Manage and maintain NSF certifications across branded product portfolios . Own the company’s EPR packaging database and oversee annual reporting requirements across multiple states (including California, Oregon, Colorado, and others). Support international regulatory compliance efforts, including EU export requirements, plastics regulations, and Prop 65 compliance . Monitor changing regulatory landscapes and translate legislation into practical, business-focused actions. Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinate with external regulatory consultants while serving as the primary internal compliance authority. Support special projects and compliance initiatives as needed. Travel up to 15% . Qualifications 8–10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, compliance program management, quality engineering, or regulatory affairs within commercial, industrial, or regulated product environments . Demonstrated expertise in NSF certifications, EPA regulations, and EPR reporting ( required ). Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and convert requirements into actionable business processes. Experience working with technical documentation and engineering drawings. Strong project leadership skills; PMP certification is a plus . Ability to operate independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Background in Quality, Engineering, or Product Compliance preferred. Experience with plastics regulations is a plus. Exposure to foodservice, commercial hospitality, or adjacent regulated industries preferred. Why This Role?
