Step into a day where accuracy and problem‑solving power every decision. You’ll begin by reviewing prints and job travelers, programming Mazak 5‑axis mills in Mazatrol or G‑Code, and setting up fixtures and tooling. First‑article validation follows, using micrometers and bore gauges to verify tight tolerances. Throughout the shift, you’ll run complex parts in a variety of materials, document results with precision, and collaborate with teammates to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Program and set up Mazak CNC 5‑axis mills from blueprints and written instructions.
• Optimize Mazatrol and G‑Code programs; familiarity with Mastercam is a plus.
• Hold tight tolerances and inspect with precision tools (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Machine a range of materials while ensuring process repeatability and part quality.
• Document setups, measurements, and process adjustments with accuracy.
• Contribute positively to team productivity, cooperation, data collection, and culture.

What you bring

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with Mazak CNC 5‑axis mills.
• Proven skill in programming and setup based on print requirements and written instructions.
• Comfort with Mazatrol and G‑Code; understanding of Mastercam preferred.
• Expert blueprint/specification reading and meticulous documentation habits.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain tight tolerances across diverse materials.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
