Job Description
An Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels meet operational needs, and coordinating with various departments to optimize inventory processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze inventory data to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and reorder products as needed
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date inventory records
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams for efficient stock management
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records
- Assist with inventory forecasting and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards related to inventory
