This role sits within a technology governance and transformation environment supporting the Derivative Products Group. The Project Manager will work across business leaders, product owners, technology teams, operations, finance, compliance, vendors, and senior leadership to drive high-visibility strategic initiatives from planning through production delivery.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead complex technology initiatives through the complete project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through implementation, production release, and closure.
• Establish project scope, delivery objectives, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, and measurable success criteria.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while coordinating business, technology, product, operations, finance, compliance, and external partners.
• Own project governance, including executive status reporting, steering committees, risk and issue management, escalation, change control, and project documentation.
• Drive delivery across Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid environments , selecting and adapting the appropriate approach for each initiative.
• Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts on requirements, roadmaps, backlog priorities, sprint planning, releases, and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, expenditures, resource utilization, and vendor costs.
• Coordinate software vendors and implementation partners through technology selection, implementation, testing, deployment, and production release.
• Ensure projects satisfy applicable regulatory, audit, security, risk, and governance requirements .
• Maintain alignment between business objectives and technology execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Do You Bring Proven Success Leading Complex Financial Technology Programs?

• 10+ years of IT project management experience , including ownership of complex technology initiatives.
• Strong experience within banking, capital markets, financial services, or similarly regulated financial environments .
• Demonstrated project delivery experience involving financial products, enterprise applications, regulatory initiatives, transformation programs, or major system implementations.
• Strong command of the SDLC and Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Proven ability to manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, budgets, resources, governance, and executive reporting.
• Experience working with business sponsors, Product Owners, Business Analysts, technology teams, operations, compliance, finance, and external vendors.
• Hands-on working knowledge of tools such as Jira, ServiceNow/SPM, Confluence, Power BI, and Microsoft Office .
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
