Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer multi-line phones, screen calls, and relay messages quickly to clinical staff, nurses, and administration to minimize disruptions on the floor.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors, vendors, and family members. Monitor guest sign-in/sign-out logs for facility security and infection control
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, manage courier deliveries, and maintain office equipment like fax machines. Provide clerical support such as data entry, filing, and typing as assigned.
• Act as the liaison for different departments, ensuring that inquiries about resident care, billing, or admissions are routed to the correct parties.
• Strictly comply with HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality regarding all resident medical and personal information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously
• Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, familes, community members, volunteers and other facility staff
• Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly
