Lead Analyst, Sales Force Effectiveness

The Lead Analyst, Sales Operations will be instrumental in providing overall analytical support to the sales and commercial teams, analyzing industry and internal data, identifying and recommending areas of opportunity and developing advanced tools and reporting to enable sales force effectiveness. The Lead Analyst will work with leadership to understand initiatives, will develop recommendations and implement analytic tools which will be critical drivers of sales growth. The accuracy of the position ensures achievement of meeting overall ConvaTec EBIDTA goals.Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with leadership, Commercial excellence and sales team to understand franchise goals and lead the development of opportunity reporting to identify key accounts of opportunity for growth of sales; development of advanced analytical tools for the sales teamTrack and measure key strategic initiatives identified by leadership, identify key insights and provide recommendation for action to drive sales.Partner with and provide analytical leadership to Commercial Excellence, Field Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Channel Management teams.Lead the development of analyses and reporting to support the business franchise leaders and the sales teams using internal and external data and identifying market trends and conditions. Lead the development and implementation of industry benchmarks to access opportunity and penetration in various markets and accounts. Analyze and report performance of customers, regions, territories, market types to business leadersHave deeper understanding of customer targeting and segmentation and be able to support territory optimization and restructure efforts for the business unit.Develop customer insights and findings from marketing programs by applying standard data analysis protocols and integrating external market dataProvide support to Consumer Excellence Team with development and maintenance of reporting aimed at:Analyzing performance against key KPIs and developing targets for direct-to-consumer programInforming the business about consumer insights, trends and identifying opportunities for business growthPerform adhoc analysis as requestedPrincipal ContactsInternal- US Commercial Excellence, Consumer Excellence, Field Sales, Channel Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Legal.Travel Requirements: Less than 10%Language Skills Required:Speaking: English Writing/Reading: EnglishEducation/Qualifications:B. S. degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, business or related area with 5+ years (or 2+ years with MBA) combined experience in business/sales/financial analytics and forecasting.
