The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care for individuals who require intermediate medical care. Staff will work night shifts. The position includes every other weekend and holiday shifts. Nurses must adhere to floating policies. This role requires experience with various patient care tasks, including telemetry and IV management. Candidates must be able to manage dysrhythmias and administer medications as needed. Experience with trauma cases is preferred for this role. A focus on patient safety and quality care is vital. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be necessary for effective patient care. The nurse will work with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and care coordination will be part of the nursing responsibilities. Effective communication and documentation skills, particularly with Epic, are essential for this position.
