Property Accountant

We are seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of its growing portfolio. This role will work closely with property management and leadership teams, playing a key part in maintaining accurate financials across multiple entities and ensuring smooth month‑end processes. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of properties/entities Prepare monthly financial statements and perform variance analysis Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes Partner with property managers to support budgeting and financial performance Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting experience; property accounting or property management experience is a plus Experience working in a multi‑entity environment and handling intercompany transactions Understanding of GAAP fundamentals Proficiency in Excel; experience with systems such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or NetSuite is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Praxt Talent
