Staff Accountant

Full-Service Bookkeeper and Accounting Manager Pay: $30–$32/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Full-Time, In Person, not remote Overview A well-established organization in the Benton Harbor area is seeking an experienced Full-Service Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a comprehensive, hands-on role responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across multiple accounting disciplines and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes Process and administer payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain and reconcile the general ledger Perform bank and account reconciliations Generate financial reports and support month-end/year-end close Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations Qualifications Significant, hands-on experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role Strong working knowledge of AR/AP, payroll, tax preparation, and general ledger Proficiency in QuickBooks (required) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and communication skills Express Employment is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals
