About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Controllership & Accounting to provide strategic and operational leadership in the areas of accounting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial activities, including owning the close process, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements, and managing cash and working capital. This role requires a strong leader with a focus on internal controls, audit readiness, and finance systems optimization. The Head of Controllership & Accounting will also be a key partner to business leaders, driving financial performance, and supporting M&A integration. Applicants for the Head of Controllership & Accounting position at the company should have an active CPA credential and a minimum of 8 years' of progressive accounting and controllership experience. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in leading and developing finance teams, as well as experience in improving finance systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance, and be adept at managing cash flow, working capital, and financial governance. Experience in M&A, purchase price accounting, and post-acquisition integration is preferred, as is a background in multi-revenue-stream organizations. The role requires excellent communication, project leadership, and change management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
