Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager – Our client seeks a Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager to join their team.

You will earn a starting salary up to $185,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, enjoy an excellent company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in a hybrid setting.

Some of your responsibilities as Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager will include:

• Identifying and executing trading opportunities and risks cross all areas of the desk including derivatives, Treasuries, Agencies, Fed Funds, Reverse Repurchase Agreements and more
• Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of and can cover/assist in all areas of the desk including derivatives, Advances, Treasuries, Agencies, Fed Funds, Reverse Repurchase Agreements, Mortgage structured products and more
• Participating in decision making and implementation of strategic initiatives by working independently or with others
• Ensuring compliance with various Bank regulation and policies as it relates to treasury functions
• Preparing presentations for senior leadership and board of directors with insights into treasury reports
• Providing informal mentorship and leadership to other team members
• Successfully operating within a number of systems, including Bloomberg, MarkitWire, TradeWeb and more
• Other duties as assigned

To qualify for this Senior Fixed Income and Derivative Portfolio Manager position, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or related
• Masters of Business Administration and/or Chartered Financial Analyst designation preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of investment experience
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, Intex, PolyPaths and more
• Extensive knowledge of the markets
• Extensive understanding of finance, economics, accounting, investment, and banking principles and practices
• Advanced understanding of fixed income analysis, mortgage prepayment behavior, advance pricing and derivative pricing
• Sound understanding of risk metrics, risk framework, and Asset Liability Management practices
• Strong communication and presentation skills
