Business Development Manager - Warehousing & Logistics

We're looking for a driven Warehouse Business Development Manager to grow our warehouse business by developing new customer relationships and increasing warehouse occupancy. In this role, you'll identify companies with warehousing, distribution, cross-docking, transloading, and storage needs, then deliver customized logistics solutions that create long-term partnerships. As a trusted advisor, you'll also uncover opportunities to expand customer relationships into additional transportation services. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new warehouse customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and email outreach. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while consistently generating new business. Understand customer warehousing and distribution needs and recommend tailored solutions. Conduct customer meetings, facility tours, and solution presentations. Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business opportunities. Build lasting customer relationships while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Identify opportunities to expand accounts into transportation and logistics services. Partner with warehouse operations, customer service, and leadership to ensure successful customer onboarding and ongoing account growth. Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently achieve sales and revenue goals. Cross-train across key warehouse and logistics functions to provide operational support and maintain business continuity during team member absences, vacations, or periods of increased workload while ensuring customer service standards are met What We're Looking For Proven outside sales experience with a track record of bringing in new business. Competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a passion for sales. Interest in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Understanding of warehouse operations and KPIs, or the ability to quickly learn. Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally for customer meetings. Why Join Us?
