Job Opportunity

This position involves performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality diagnostic images. These images assist physicians and other healthcare providers in diagnosing, treating, monitoring, and preventing injuries or diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute safe and precise computerized tomography procedures while exercising sound judgment.
• Produce accurate imaging results in a timely manner.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain attentive monitoring throughout procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to gain confidence and cooperation.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines to ensure patient privacy and safety.
• May assist in orienting other staff members within the department and may perform specific procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• California Certification in Radiologic Technology (CA CRT)
• California Venipuncture License
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting

Work Schedule

The position is scheduled for 5 days per week, with shifts from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM. There are no on-call or weekend requirements associated with this role.

Compliance and Documentation

• All compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to the start date.
• A 7-year work history verification is required, with accurate employment history details needed.
• Completion of onboarding labs is expected within 3-5 days of contract signing.
