Dietary AideNorth Platte Valley Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our Hospital team. This role supports our residents' health and well-being by assisting with meal preparation, service, and clean-up in a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment.Position OverviewThe Dietary Aide helps ensure residents receive nutritious, properly prepared meals according to their dietary needs and preferences. This role includes assisting the cook with meal service, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation and serving food to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines.Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring sanitation standards are met.Help prepare snacks and special diet items as directed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining space.Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and staff.QualificationsPrevious experience in food service or dietary care preferred, but not required.Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices a plus.Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds.Frequent standing, bending, and walking.Ability to work in hot and cold kitchen environments.Job TypeFull-Time or Part-Time | Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Benefits (Full-Time Employees)Health, dental, vision, and life insuranceDisability insurancePaid time off and sick timeSimple IRA with company matchSupportive and team-oriented environmentIf you enjoy working in a team, helping others, and supporting residents' health through quality meals and service, we invite you to apply to join our Dietary team at North Platte Valley Medical Center!
