We’re hiring a Telematics Installer at our rental facility in Leetsdale, PA. The role requires installing and repairing our telematics system and devices, and is open to candidates ready to grow with us, bring energy, and help us build the future of construction. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 5:00PM; overtime after 40 hours. The role may require on‑call scheduling with additional compensation. Primary Responsibilities Install our telematics system and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets. Operate machinery as needed for testing during installation. Remove and replace ignition systems without a custom keypad and controller, then integrate communication between the keypad and telematics system. Handle a range of installation scenarios from basic (power, ignition, ground) to complex (custom wiring harnesses accessing the CAN network of vehicles and equipment). Identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information, and develop alternative solutions when required. Travel to client sites or various EquipmentShare rental yards in the region for installation cases. Advocate for the EquipmentShare platform and brand while on the job and in the field. About You We want candidates who bring grit, heart, and humility to their work and are excited about growing within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent (Trade School Certificate preferred). Mechanical aptitude and proficient use of tools. Hard‑working, eager to learn, and mechanically inclined. Experience in a related field (electrician, HVAC technician, car audio installer, etc.). Mobile electronics installer experience. Automotive electronics technician skills. 12V technician experience. Prior experience in the telematics industry is not required; we will train you. Own tools; a few specialty tools will be provided. Excellent attention to detail. Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check. Willingness to travel within a 250‑mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time. Physical ability to drive, maneuver in tight spaces, bend, squat, walk long distances, and lift more than 25lb. Ability to be clean shaven if required for entry to customer worksites. Contingent on passing a 10‑panel drug screen. Proficient with iPhone/mobile phone technology and basic computer navigation.
