Quick Facts Location: 1775 Thompson Road, Coos Bay, OR 97420 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Open (Permanent position) Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (flexible based on department needs) Hours/Week: Full-time (80 hours/pay period) or Part-time (48 hours/pay period) Employment Type: Permanent, with flexible scheduling options Licensure/Certs: BC/BE in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, Oregon medical license or eligible, DEA, board certification required Experience: New graduates welcome; experience in outpatient oncology preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: Competitive salary ($680k+ annually for full-time experience level; to be discussed at interview) Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable) Paid sick leave in accordance with laws Licensing and certification reimbursement Paid travel and other reimbursements when applicable Generous PTO and CME allowance Onsite employee health and wellness clinic Supportive, family-oriented community with top-rated schools What You’ll Do Provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology care in a modern cancer center Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation oncology, infusion nursing, and support staff Manage new patient evaluations, follow-up, and coordinate care plans Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge treatment options Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and supportive care services Utilize electronic medical records and advanced oncology software What You Need Valid medical license in Oregon or eligible for licensure Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology Strong communication and patient management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient environment Experience with outpatient oncology treatments preferred but not required About the Assignment Join a well-established and highly regarded cancer center affiliated with Oregon Health & Science University.
