Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview
We are seeking Customer Service Specialists to assist Florida high school and college students with questions related to scholarships and grants .
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, be comfortable working with computers, and have the ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when assisting customers who may be stressed or upset.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls from students regarding scholarships and grants.
Listen to customer questions and understand their needs.
Provide accurate and professional assistance.
Remain calm and courteous when handling difficult or upset customers.
Use computer systems to access and document information.
Enter and maintain information accurately.
Follow established procedures and guidelines.
Escalate issues when appropriate.
Maintain dependable attendance and professional performance.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Comfortable using computers.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional with stressed or upset customers.
Previous customer service/support experience is a plus.
Strong job tenure and stable employment history.
Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL.
Ability to work MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM.
Background Check Requirement
Candidates selected for the position must successfully complete a Level 2 background screening , which includes fingerprinting and criminal records checks at the state and federal levels. Local criminal records checks may also be conducted when applicable.
