Laboratory Supervisor

Description NorDx Overview The Supervisor - Laboratory provides daily supervision to the laboratory team for both operations and human resources management. The role is accountable for scheduling, work distribution, technical direction, quality improvement, training, competency assessment, and may perform laboratory functions as needed. Responsibilities Day-to-day supervision of the laboratory team, ensuring compliance with performance standards, overseeing training and competency evaluations, and providing technical leadership. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a similar field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. License/Certifications: Certification in one or more of the following: MT, MLT, MLS, CLS, CHT, CHS, CG, CT, HT, HTL, ASCP Scientist/Specialist (BB, C, H, M, MB, SBB, SC, SH, SM) required (ASCP, AMT, HEW, ABHI). Experience: Two years of experience as an MLT/MT required. Prior Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.
