Job Summary:

This position supports the reconciliation of Commercial Loan accounts in a fast-paced financial operations environment. Responsibilities include researching and resolving discrepancies, performing account balancing and reconciliations, processing adjustments, uploading General Ledger entries, and mitigating operational risk. The successful candidate will be expected to meet daily balancing goals, clear outstanding items, and maintain established service level agreements (SLAs) while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Job Description :

• Processes transactions, reconciles and maintains various accounts and ledgers.
• Transactions processed and maintained may include accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and/or other accounting documents.
• Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.
• Conducts research on discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.
• Responds to and resolves inquiries. Posts data and/or checks and verifies data.
• Runs and prepares routine financial reports and analyses.
• Excel fluency crucial to this role. Understanding formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.
• Past interviews had a lot of accounting people doing payroll reconciliations. This is international with different currencies (reconciled the same). Candidate needs to know operational debits/credits and how that works.
• OneNote proficiency required. In training, candidate will be expected to take good notes and build out their own processes. Team uses OneNote for personal notes.
• Any Workday knowledge would be preferred, bordering on required. Can be trained, but will make things must easier.
• Tuesday/Wednesday required onsite. Third day onsite is up to the contractor.
• Please note this is first shift. Please communicate to candidates first thing, before submittal.
• Previously ended a contract early due to skill level. Interview went well, but once they were hired on they were not proficient in Excel or OneNote.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of relevant experience
  

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with reconciliation, Accounting, General Ledger, and Banking is a plus
• 5 years or more experience is a plus
