Project Manager (Construction - Site Development & Utilities)Position OverviewExperienced Project Manager to lead civil and site development projects from preconstruction through closeout. Responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality and safety compliance, and client/stakeholder coordination for projects involving DOT requirements, water infrastructure, underground utilities, grading, and earthwork. The role requires hands-on construction knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project planning and execution for site development, civil construction, and utility projects including water, storm, sewer, and underground utilities.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.Coordinate design review, permitting, and approvals with engineers, DOT agencies, utility owners, and local authorities.Manage subcontractor selection, contracts, scope control, and on-site performance; oversee daily site activities related to grading, earthwork, and utility installation.Prepare and administer change orders, cost forecasts, pay applications, and project closeout documentation.Ensure compliance with safety policies, QA/QC procedures, contract specifications, and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular project meetings, provide progress reports to clients and senior management, and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders.Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, as-built records, and project files in project management systems.Mentor and provide technical guidance to project engineers, superintendents, and field staff.QualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of progressive project management experience in civil/site development and construction, with demonstrated experience managing grading, earthwork, and underground utilities.Direct experience with DOT projects, water infrastructure, and coordination with utility owners and permitting agencies.Strong knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and contract administration.Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, cost controls, and change management.Familiarity with project management and construction software (MS Project, Procore, or similar); experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.OSHA 10 or 30 and other relevant safety certifications preferred.PMP certification or PE license is a plus.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.BenefitsMedical VisionDental 401(K)BonusAnd More!
