Marketing Associate

Overview

Our client is seeking a creative, organized, and commercially minded

Marketing Associate to support the firm’s marketing, investor relations, and business development efforts.

This role will help strengthen their presence across the commercial real estate and

investment management markets by developing high-quality content and communications for borrowers, investment sponsors, investors, and other industry stakeholders.

The Associate will work closely with the Investor Relations, Investment, and Business

Support teams to turn the firm’s transactions, market insights, people, and expertise into compelling external communications. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and project manager who is comfortable moving between strategy and execution and brings a thoughtful, modern approach to content, digital marketing, events, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content Development

• Support the development and execution of the firm’s marketing and communications

strategy.

• Help manage the firm’s content calendar, identifying opportunities around

transactions, market developments, firm initiatives, events, and other timely

moments.

• Develop written and visual content for LinkedIn, email campaigns, presentations,

the company website, and other external channels.

Work with senior professionals and subject-matter experts to translate investment

perspectives and market insights into clear, engaging content.

Assist in developing thought leadership, transaction stories, employee features,

market commentary, video concepts, and other content that differentiates the firm in

the marketplace.

• Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual presentation across external

communications.

Borrower & Sponsor Marketing

Support marketing initiatives designed to strengthen relationships with existing

borrowers and investment sponsors and increase awareness among prospective

partners.

Help create sponsor-focused campaigns highlighting the company’s capabilities,

Develop borrower and sponsor communications, transaction announcements,

case studies, market updates, and relationship-building content.

Conduct competitor and market research to identify industry trends, borrower

priorities, and opportunities to differentiate the firm.

Work with investment professionals to identify relevant and timely touchpoints with

sponsors between transactions.

Digital & Social Media

Support the firm’s social media strategy, with a particular focus on LinkedIn.

Draft and coordinate social content featuring transactions, firm news, market

perspectives, employees, events, and executive thought leadership.

Help develop more human and engaging content formats, including short-form

video, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and employee perspectives.

Monitor engagement and identify content themes and formats that resonate most

effectively with the firm’s audiences.

Stay current on evolving social media, digital marketing, and content trends

relevant to financial services and commercial real estate.

Investor Communications

Partner with the Investor Relations team to prepare polished investor-facing

communications and materials.

Assist with investor presentations, quarterly communications, fundraising

materials, firm updates, and other investor content.

Support the planning and execution of the firm’s Annual Investor Meeting, including

presentations, event materials, communications, and attendee experience.

Help maintain consistency in messaging across investor communications and other

external-facing materials.

Events & Industry Engagement

Support the planning and execution of investor, borrower, and industry events,

including conferences, webinars, roadshows, panels, and proprietary events.

Develop event presentations, invitations, promotional materials, social content,

and post-event communications.

Track relevant industry conferences, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and

events that could enhance the company’s visibility and relationships.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure events and

materials reflect the firm’s brand.

Marketing Analytics & Operations

Use CRM, email marketing, social media, and website data to track engagement

and campaign performance.

Assist with regular reporting on key marketing metrics, including audience growth,

email engagement, social performance, and campaign results.

Maintain and improve marketing lists, audience segmentation, campaign

workflows, and contact data.

Use performance data to identify opportunities to improve future campaigns and

content.

Support ongoing improvements to marketing processes, tools, and templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, finance, or

a related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications,

investor relations, financial services, commercial real estate, or a related industry.

•Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Ability to translate complex business or investment topics into clear, engaging

content.

•Strong project management and organizational skills with excellent attention to

detail

• Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms, particularly

LinkedIn.

• Strong visual judgment and experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud,

PowerPoint, or similar design tools.

• Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms; Salesforce experience is a

plus.

• Comfort working with data and marketing analytics to assess performance.

• Ability to work collaboratively with senior professionals and multiple internal teams.

Interest in commercial real estate, investment management, or private markets

strongly preferred.
