Description: The Drawing Analyst is responsible for reviewing the accuracy of drawings against customer requirements and engineering calculations. Also, the Drawing Analyst may support drawing creation, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation for steel structures and related products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review drawings for compliance with customer specifications, company standards, drafting procedures, and manufacturing requirements. Ensure all drawings are complete, coordinated, and suitable for fabrication prior to release. Collaborate with designers and engineers to clarify requirements and implement corrections. Identify potential design, fabrication, or assembly concerns and proactively communicate recommendations to Engineering and management. Verify dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, weld requirements, connection details, and manufacturing information for accuracy and completeness. Assist in maintaining drawing standards, drafting procedures, templates, and best practices. Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, erection drawings, and shop documentation using CAD software. Prepare complete drawing packages including bills of material (BOMs), fabrication details, weld symbols, hardware schedules, and assembly instructions. Review engineering calculations, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure drawings accurately reflect the approved design. Confirm title blocks, part numbers, drawing numbers, units, and document properties align with program standards. Identify and resolve discrepancies between models and drawings before release. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Drawings Analyst or Checker or in a similar role in the steel pole industry (At least 8 years or more). Proficient in 2D and 3D industrial design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc). Excellent project management skills. Proven ability to work effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
