The Opportunity

Glenmark Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial drywall construction projects throughout the Indianapolis area. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who understands commercial drywall construction and knows how to keep crews, productivity, quality, safety, and project schedules moving in the right direction.

You'll lead field crews while working closely with Project Managers and General Contractors to coordinate daily activities and maintain successful project execution.

We're looking for a construction professional who can take ownership in the field, communicate effectively with both crews and project leadership, and consistently maintain Glenmark's standards for quality workmanship and professionalism.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Field Supervision & Crew Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial drywall construction projects
• Lead and coordinate field crews to maintain productivity and project expectations
• Assign daily work and communicate priorities clearly to field personnel
• Monitor manpower and field production throughout each phase of construction
• Provide hands-on leadership and direction to keep crews working safely and efficiently
• Help identify field challenges and coordinate solutions before they impact project progress
• Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and quality workmanship among field personnel
• Commercial Drywall Operations
• Oversee commercial drywall construction activities throughout assigned projects
• Monitor field installation to ensure work meets project requirements and quality expectations
• Coordinate work based on project plans, schedules, and jobsite conditions
• Help ensure crews have the information, materials, and resources necessary to complete assigned work
• Monitor workmanship and address quality concerns as they arise
• Coordinate drywall activities with other trades working on active commercial jobsites
• Help minimize rework by maintaining strong quality control throughout installation
• Scheduling & Project Coordination
• Coordinate daily field activities with Project Managers and General Contractors
• Monitor project schedules and field progress to help maintain established deadlines
• Communicate manpower, scheduling, material, and jobsite needs to project leadership
• Participate in project and jobsite coordination as required
• Identify potential delays or conflicts and communicate them promptly
• Adjust daily field priorities as project conditions and schedules change
• Maintain clear communication between field crews and project management
• Safety & Jobsite Compliance
• Promote and enforce company and jobsite safety requirements
• Monitor crews to ensure safe work practices are consistently followed
• Identify jobsite hazards and take appropriate action to address safety concerns
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas
• Reinforce proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment
• Help maintain a field culture where safety and quality are treated as daily priorities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience supervising or leading commercial construction field crews
• Strong working knowledge of commercial drywall construction
• Demonstrated ability to manage crews and maintain field productivity
• Ability to coordinate work with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades
• Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and active jobsite operations
• Ability to monitor workmanship and maintain quality standards
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate clearly with field personnel and project leadership
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing project conditions and priorities
• Commitment to maintaining safe and professional jobsites

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous supervisory experience specifically within commercial drywall construction
• Experience leading multiple drywall crews or larger commercial projects
• Strong understanding of commercial drywall installation processes and field production
• Experience coordinating with General Contractors and other subcontractors
• Background in commercial interiors or related specialty construction
• Experience monitoring manpower, productivity, and project schedules
• Proven ability to develop and lead productive field teams

Compensation

• $30.00 – $40.00+ per hour, based on experience
• Full-Time, Long-Term Employment
• Compensation will be determined based on commercial drywall experience, field leadership background, and overall qualifications
