Production Supervisor


We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing and material handling operations in a production environment. This position is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring production goals are met, promoting workplace safety, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties

• Supervise daily production and/or material handling operations to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and support employees in achieving performance goals
• Train, coach, cross-train, and develop team members
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and other employee-related processes
• Promote employee engagement and maintain a positive work environment
• Monitor quality, productivity, delivery, and operational performance metrics
• Maintain production tracking systems and ensure timely follow-up on production issues
• Lead and support process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and support departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Conduct safety training, support incident investigations, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen events, and waste reduction projects
• Perform additional supervisory and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and achieve operational results
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards, OSHA regulations, and Lean Manufacturing principles
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production facility during the workday

• Ability to safely perform supervisory responsibilities on the production floor

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Thursday
• Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Overtime on Fridays as needed
