We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fabrication environment. This position is responsible for overseeing production activities, promoting workplace safety, ensuring quality standards are met, developing team members, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication and production activities
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and production schedules to ensure operational goals are achieved
- Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications
- Train, coach, and develop production employees
- Identify and resolve production, quality, and operational issues
- Maintain clear communication with employees, management, and other departments
- Monitor productivity and implement process improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Assist with scheduling, workload distribution, and resource planning
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required
- Strong leadership and employee development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity
- Ability to lead by example and promote accountability
- Team leadership and employee coaching
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Production planning and organization
