Industry and what does the company do? Manufacturing company based in Los Angeles is seeking a Composite Estimator! Job Title: Composite Estimator Location: Long Beach Pay: $25.00 to $32.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire Summary: Review customer quotes and work closely with manufacturing, planning and engineering to develop complete accurate estimates for our composites and non-metallic capabilities.Essential Functions:
- Review customer RFQ requirements - Validate ERP production capabilities
- Determine make or buy decisions and verify producibility issues
- Estimate all production costs in line with engineering specifications
- Formulate bid estimates in standard format and meet RFQ due dates
- Meet ITAR Requirement
- Ability to interpret customer supplied specifications and drawings
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on product mix and due dates
- 2+ years of estimating experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and requirements is critical
