Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry

Schedule:
- Night shifts: 18:45 - 07:15
- Every other weekend plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period

Assignment Details:
- Assignment Length: 13 - 26 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience with similar acuity/ratios
- Traveler experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome
- Licensure: North Carolina or compact license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIHSS
- Experience in cardiac telemetry / PCU skills and dysrhythmia recognition
- Proficient in IV starts and peripheral line care
- Familiar with pre/post cardiac procedure care

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage cardiac telemetry
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias
- Administer medications, including cardiac drips, as prescribed
- Provide pre/post procedural care for cardiac interventions
- Manage high-flow oxygen and respiratory support as needed
- Participate in rapid response/code team activation

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours; must be available every day in week one
- RTO must be pre-approved; no RTO during first week; up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays)
- Scrubs: navy blue or white (mixture allowed); appropriate dress code must be followed
