Overview Registered Nurse - OR (Perioperative Services) travel assignment in Dillon, Montana. Start date 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Nights shift with 40 guaranteed hours per week and call coverage every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend. The role involves perioperative nursing care for patients across pediatric through geriatric ages in a hospital setting, with opportunities to support ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy cases. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,330–$2,492 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights with call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend Start date: 09/07/2026 Setting: Travel assignment in a perioperative department within a hospital Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care from admission through discharge, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative support, and post-anesthesia care. Perform age-appropriate assessments, care planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients from pediatric to geriatric populations. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and scrub personnel; advocate for patient safety, comfort, and informed decision-making throughout the perioperative period. Monitor vital signs, manage equipment and supplies, maintain sterile technique, and ensure safe patient transitions and discharges from the perioperative suite. Assist with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecologic, and endoscopy procedures; contribute to efficient room turnover and readiness for subsequent cases. Document accurately and completely; communicate clearly with patients, families, and the surgical team; provide education and discharge instructions as needed.
