Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,014–$3,238 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (12x4 block) Start date: October 19, 2026 Unit specifics: IMCU/PCU with 64 beds (15 neuro-designated) Floating required: Yes Local rate option: Eligible travelers within 75 miles may qualify for local-rate terms Responsibilities Provide direct patient care as a PCU nurse in the IMCU/PCU setting, with emphasis on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and post-operative care Monitor vital signs and clinical status; assess and respond to changes in patient condition; implement care plans per physician orders Manage patients with complex needs, including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-op recovery; utilize chronic-ventilator management with RT support when required Administer medications, start IVs, perform frequent neuro-cardiac assessments, and collaborate with interprofessional teams Document thoroughly in the EPIC EMR; communicate patient status during handoffs and participate in discharge planning and patient education Provide unit coverage as assigned, including float duties and adherence to unit-specific policies Requirements Active NY RN license with Nursys verification; ability to maintain multiple RN licenses as applicable 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Stroke experience required EPIC EMR experience Requires valid driver’s license and an address that matches demographics; local candidates within 75 miles eligible for local-rate terms RTO requests must be included at submission; no holiday RTO will be approved Up-to-date resume detailing travel and IMCU/PCU experience Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support from start to finish Credentialing and documentation assistance, including Nursys license verification Local-rate options for eligible travelers (within 75 miles) EPIC EMR training and ongoing support Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
