Technician II, Avionics

Job Description – Technician II, Avionics (18494) Technician II, R&E responsible for effectively performing routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C and D checks. Responsibilities Able to troubleshoot aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and minimal supervision. Understand engineering methodology for systems installations. Demonstrated proficiency in performing avionics and electrical modifications with little supervision. All other duties as assigned. Core Competencies Commitment to company values and ethics. Strong judgment and decision making. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: high school diploma or GED required. Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training. 2 years previous experience required. Must have an A&P, FCC license or repairman certificate. Computer keypunch experience. Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment. Physical Demands / Work Environment The employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. The environment is a warehouse setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.
