Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Job Description: Desktop We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing desktop support, managing network cabling systems, and ensuring smooth operations across various technical infrastructures. Desktop Job Responsibilities: Desktop Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and applications. Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions. Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolutions to technical issues. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of desktop systems. Assist with the procurement and inventory management of desktop equipment and software. Document and maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions. Key Responsibilities for Desktop Support Engineer: Diagnoses and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktop systems. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications. Collaborate with users to identify and resolve technical problems. Provide training and guidance to users on the proper use of desktop systems. Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives. Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to desktop systems. Continuously improve desktop support processes and procedures. Cable Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair cable TV and internet systems. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication. Qualifications and Skills: 1+ years of professional technician experience and desktop support. Familiarity with industry tools and equipment used for cabling and desktop support. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work at tall heights and lift 50+ pounds. Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications. Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus. Job Environment: This role requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. The Desktop Support Engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with other IT teams and providing direct support to end-users. Please note that this position requires working every other weekend.
