Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to administer ultrasound enhancement agents UEA Definity & Optison. - Must be able to complete 7 scans per day and meet expectations for pace and volume.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 2-3 years of experience preferred. - IV certification preferred. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: - Graduate of an ultrasonography program required.

Preferred Credentials: - Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonography training program preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or a relevant health sciences field preferred.

Unit Details: - Pediatric echo lab with transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. - Agitated saline bubble studies. - Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric patients across the care continuum in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, cath lab, and emergency department settings. - Cases include TAVR echocardiograms, VAD echocardiograms, ECMO echocardiograms, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, strain 3D/4D echocardiograms, mitral clip follow-up echos, pericardial disease/pericardiocentesis, and transplant patients (heart, lung, liver, renal). - Mix of inpatient and outpatient work settings.

Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday with variable shift start times between 0700 - 0900. - Rotation on weekends to support coverage. - On-call rotation may be requested dependent on operational need.

Floating Requirements: - Float between the main UWH Highland Avenue location and may rotate to Arbor Gate and East Madison Clinic.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
