Senior Staff Accountant – Corporate Finance Job Location: Houston, TX Requirement Number: 2026-4146 Category: Administrative Responsibilities We have an immediate opening for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team, based in the Downtown Houston office. As a key player in the team's operations, this individual should be conscientious about their role and possess a strong "can-do" customer service attitude. The Senior Staff Accountant will have the following responsibilities: Oversee U.S. and international tax compliance, including coordination with external advisors and review of filings Analyze financial results and investigate variances Assist with consolidation of multiple entities and intercompany transactions Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process improvements Perform and oversee general ledger accounting, including journal entries and complex account reconciliations Partner with cross-functional teams (payroll, tax, operations) Communicate frequently with CFO, Controller and Assistant Controller Manage Staff Accountant(s) for Latin America Mentor other Finance Team personnel on priority projects and other areas of accounting Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Ad hoc financial analysis projects This role is a hybrid position.
