Accountant

At Yardi, we're looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalAccountant to help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financialoperations. In this role, you'll manage key accounting functions includinggeneral ledger activities, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable,revenue reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You'll analyzefinancial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and supportcompliance with GAAP, global accounting standards, and company policies whilecontributing to timely and accurate financial reporting. As a valued member of our accounting team, you'll alsoassist with tax filings, audits, contract and billing reviews, supplier invoiceprocessing, and projects that support business growth and operationalexcellence. What You'll Do: Maintain accurate financial records and support accountingactivities for a multi-entity environment in compliance with accountingcontrols, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Analyze financial data and transactions using establishedaccounting principles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and financialintegrity. Prepare timely and accurate financial reports that supportbusiness operations, decision-making, and compliance objectives. Perform a variety of general accounting and financialreporting functions, with responsibilities focused on one or more specializedaccounting areas (Sales tax accounting, International GST and VAT taxes, Internationalaccounting and payroll, Sales and use tax regulations and filing requirements). Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Five plus (5+) years of accounting experience Experience with foreign currency consolidations Prior experience with internal and external audits Knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting principles Knowledge of global payroll regulation and accountingstandards Knowledge of database report writing Knowledge of accounting software Proficiency in 10-key and MS Office applications Advanced Excel skills using PivotTable and Power Query Understanding and ability to interpret financial statements Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and high accuracy level Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ideal to Have: Experience in public accounting Experience in multi-entity accounting International accounting experience Real Estate runs on Yardi.
