Position Overview Payroll Analyst2 Job Number 40031279. Salary range: $28.88‑$49.76/hr. Work location: Student Affairs & Admin Services – 3201. Working days: Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑5:00. Benefits: full benefits. Job Duties The Payroll Analyst performs critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving tasks to research, analyze and resolve complex campus payroll and general ledger questions. Manage payroll administration tasks, resolve payroll errors, maintain accurate records, and handle a large caseload of requests. Administer campus‑wide work authorization program in accordance with USCIS regulations and university policies. Provide training and support to campus payroll staff and other departmental users. Assist with special projects, process improvement, and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training. 1‑3 years of payroll and/or finance experience. Experience processing payroll for a small to medium‑size business. Experience responding to basic payroll inquiries. Strong initiative, independence, good judgment, and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education or government. Special Conditions Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
