Personal Care Assistant

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Northville, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
Support clients with mobility and transferring
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Monitor client health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
Provide companionship and emotional support
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

Previous experience in personal care or a related field preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Northville, MI
Basic knowledge of household safety and infection control

Benefits
