Marketing Program Manager

The Principal Affiliate Marketing Program Manager will support the External Affiliate Channel team for a large U.S. financial institution. This role is responsible for driving affiliate marketing strategy, partner management, program execution, and cross-functional project leadership across customer acquisition initiatives. Working closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and external affiliate partners, this individual will help manage the affiliate channel roadmap, onboard and optimize partners, and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and business results. The ideal candidate combines strong affiliate marketing expertise with exceptional project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. This position follows a hybrid work schedule requiring three days per week onsite in New York City, NY. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of affiliate channel strategies that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and business objectives. Manage relationships with affiliate networks, publishers, agencies, and strategic partners, including onboarding, activation, optimization, and performance reviews. Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, coordinating efforts across Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams. Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, risks, and success metrics while ensuring on-time delivery. Partner with business and technology teams to identify and implement enhancements to affiliate platforms, tracking, attribution, reporting, and operational processes. Monitor channel performance and analyze data to identify growth opportunities, improve partner effectiveness, and optimize return on investment. Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, performance reports, and strategic recommendations. Ensure affiliate marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal, privacy, brand, and governance requirements. Drive issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across multiple teams and external partners.
